First, as the foremost research institute in the province, we will strengthen our role as Think Tank for major projects in being pursued by Chungcheongbuk-do.

CRI is an institute that leads the future of Chungcheongbuk-do and its prosperity. We will develop and propose policies for “Making Chungbuk New and Getting Residents Excited”. We will present the right path for Chungcheongbuk-do’ promising future. And we will do our best to make Chungcheongbuk-do be better and more attractive place to live by improving its infrastructure for education, culture and settlement.

Second, we will conduct more field-oriented and regionally customized studies.

We will visit and look around the lives of Chungcheongbuk-do residents, and listen more closely to the voices in the field. We will also conduct regionally customized studies that can increase the impact of policies among residents. CRI　hopes to be the one as a think tank that contributes to and is respected by future generations.

Third, we will create a 'regional research ecosystem' to solve regional issues and prepare for the future.

Inheriting research accomplishments accumulated over the past 30 years since our opening, we will strengthen our cooperations with industry, academia and government. We will also utilize interdisciplinary convergence research and collective intelligence. Through this, we will solve local issues and prepare for the future.
